friday

here is some stuff I doodled.
today was my birthday! it went pretty well, I did a few things I like doing and overall it was pretty quiet. I'll get some more presents when I fly home on sunday, yay!
I might do a drawing or two over the weekend since I am going to be leaving my tablet behind, so I may post a few times over the next few weeks. however, I'll be taking my official break on this blog after tonight!
hopefully I can come up with a few plans over christmas for how I'd like to proceed.
merry christmas, everybody! I care about and appreciate you all and I hope you have a safe and happy holiday with loved ones, whoever they may be. :)

Thursday

so when I was a kid we'd climb up on the netting in the soccer net at the park. there was a guy who sometimes yelled at us to get down and not do that, but we went back up there when he left.
it was FUN. man was it fun.

watts and power watts and power watts and power, golf, tango, oscar. charlie! PNP! BNC connector, Cathode-Grid-Anode/Plate. Section 6. 300 million. pico nano kilo mega farad henry AF amp.
bwaaaa. I'll probably update tomorrow on whether I pass or fail.

EDIT: I passed!!! hurrah! I did better than the minimum 70%, I got 80 which means I've got a few more privileges than normal. mostly just being able to use higher frequencies. I should totally celebrate with a cake. mm.

Thursday

I'm gonna venture a guess and say that nobody decided to try out Tegaki E based on my last post. ah well, it's not for everyone. while I'm working on my laptop which has linux on it, I find it easier to use the browser based flash app than actually trying to figure out The Gimp. I guess I'm lazy or something. :(
anyway, I am studying for my HAM license exam that's on saturday morning! wish me luck!

I drew this using a website called Tegaki E. it's like a forum but each thread begins with a drawing and all replies are also in the form of drawings. I think it's a neat thing. I mean, the site is filled with teenagers, but whatever. I still think it is fun. the drawing tools are kind of challenging though.

Friday

I don't really like how this turned out. I'm kind of looking forward to changing the blog so I don't have to post things I'm really not that crazy about.
hey, anyone going to be in the Corner Brook area at Christmas/New Years eve...? just wonderin'.

thursday

I wish I had started drawing earlier in the night. this is just a memory of Amsterdam I have. I really liked the way they built their houses and rode bikes so much and had a bunch of boat houses and it was all pretty relaxing.
not pictured: all of us getting frustrated on a pedalboat.
also, I pretty much approximated everything here... so it's not very accurate. like I said, I wish I had started earlier so I could have gone by some reference photos and put in more detail! ah well. such is life.

Tuesday

hey who remembers the stairs in the hostel/inn in Amsterdam? like holy moley. we have it easy here in the Americas. I swear we climbed up there like 200 times during our stay.
